The trends for spring/summer 2011 looks like the trends fall/winter with a summer breeze. Think 1970s bell bottoms, laces and tassels with a modern twist. Natural and clean colours like white, black, red and brown. The sailor look is also back with stripes and skirts.

The new trend for this winter is all leather. Dresses, jackets, pants and even trench coats. Easy falling leather can have folds up wich make the dresses and skirts look beautiful and most of all very chique. Think warm colours like red and brown. Combine it with (fake) fur to make it work!


Fendi, Celine, Prada. They all showed the long skirt in a new way. On the catwalk the golden oldie came back as never before: with details like leather pieces, twisted fabrics and combined with corsets. Think soft colours and easy falling fabrics. Dries van Noten


Lovely: the new look from Giorgio Armani. The fabulous designer used the nights in the Sahara as inspiration for his new spring collection. Think deep blue, warm and intense colours and ofcourse, stars. The pieces were most of all blue, from navy to almost black. Check it out:


Fall 2010 is the golden season. Designers like Diane von Furstenberg used a lot of gold in their designs. Think fashion in the 18th century with big dresses and fringes with a modern touch. A lot of designs, a mix of fabrics and a lot of gold!

The trends for Spring/Summer 2011, according to Indigo, are based on positive thinking. Back to the nature, with a lot of flowers printed designs. Mixed pastel colours with bright coloured details. Light is also an important basic in this trend. So think positive!
